Shoot him down and use your new security (as gained by the PDA) to open the door on the other side of the shelving to reach the PRC - SUPPORT AREA 1 LEVEL. Just left of the doorway, behind some of the shelving, is another chainsaw zombie waiting for you to step out. Open the door back to the service tunnels and step back to fight off the three zombies that come in after you. Take them out quickly and grab one of the chainsaws to add it to your personal armory. As you grab it, two chainsaw zombies will break in from the walls. On the floor you'll find the PDA of James Holiday. To the right is a locked door-step into the SERVICE ROOM 2A to the left and get ready for some fightin'. Run around the bend, heading left, and explore the area behind the shelving for some cells and a med kit. Further down the hall you'll run into even more cacodemons. You can crouch under the half-opened garrage door to the right to access some health and armor. In the next room, beware the Z-SEC to the left. If you need to grab the suit of armor in the room be ready to shoot down the cacodemon that spawns nearby. Continue forward and climb up the short ladder to fight an imp and a second Z-SEC.
Take the left up to be able to breath again, and fight a few more trites before taking to the SERVICE TUNNELS.įrom in front of you, a zombie and a Z-SEC charge towards you, and an imp is waiting to the left. Walk up past the stacked boxes and continue to the back of the cramped area to call a lift. Clear them out, walk straight and then take a left to fight more trites. Open up the hatch and climb down the ladder to reach another portion of MARS SURFACE.Īt the bottom of the ladder, a number of trites come from in front of you. Also in this room is a small hatch in the flooring. Eventually, the crawl space opens up to a larger room-immediately watch out for the zombie marching towards you from the right. MAINTENANCE CRAWL SPACE and SERVICE TUNNELS Crawl through the narrow space and pick up the shells off the dead man's body. Down there you'll face one more imp as you make your way to the back of the room to reach the crawl space in the corner. Shoot them down and crawl under the stairs and platform. Walk across the platform and start heading down the stairs to summon two imps below. After clearing the room, head up to SERVICE ROOM 1B.Īcross the room and to the left, a Z-SEC rushes out to greet you. Give him some lead, and begin walking up the stairs to summon a Z-SEC, a couple of imps, and a wraith, luckily only one at a time. Ignore the garage doors in the area-you're looking for the second airlock door which is across the surface, and to the right around a corner.Īs you step into SERVICE ROOM 1A, a zombie crawls out from under the platform in front of you. Shoot 'em down and gather any nearby oxygen tanks as needed (they'll give you back 50 points of oxygen). As you step out, a couple of cacodemons float out in front of you. MARS SURFACE and SERVICE ROOMS Head out to the MARS SURFACE.
